Gritty masterpiece from the director of Bad Lieutenant and King of New York!
Long available in incomplete or full screen editions, Abel Ferrara's 1979 cult classic The Driller Killer here receives its definitive presentation. The Driller Killer stars Ferrara himself (under the pseudonym 'Jimmy Laine') as Reno Miller, an artist being driven mad by the pressures of New York life who takes to the streets and begins murdering derelicts with a power drill. Although Ferrara intended to make a film in the tradition of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the end result bore an even greater resemblance to Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver. The Driller Killer is an indispensable addition to the collection of anyone interested in 1970s horror, the work of Abel Ferrara, or off-the-wall cinema. |

"Manson Family Movies is a primitive, obsessional, fetishistic tribute to mayhem, murder and madness.
Enough to appall even the most jaded video junkie
The home movie effect really added to it.
Attention to fetishy detail was really astounding Abigail's scarf, Tex's gun, plus Sadie, Tex and G. Spahn looked more like the originals than Helter Skelter. Very rude all the rumors, MDA deal, Leno the bookie, Tate S&M
I liked the Valley of the Dolls touch. The most obscure was Leno's vacation I had never even imagined those sights."

In 1930, Grant Wood won a painting competition with his masterpiece, American Gothic. Although it's considered to be a visual satire on rural American Life, perhaps the story goes deeper than canvas.
In this provocative horror tale by acclaimed photographer, Carlos Batts, we see a different interpretation of a rural American family on the 75th anniversary of Wood's painting, American Gothic. Batts paints his own story and invites us into a world where the old farmer struggles with his crime of passion, the consequences and his iconic fate. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but this painting's story will leave you speechless.

"A Nightmarish Masterpiece!" - Elliot Stein, Village Voice
Klaus (Gunter Meisner of The Boys From Brazil) is an ex-Nazi, a doctor whose war-time post in a concentration camp enabled him to commit the most appalling sex crimes against boys. After the war, living incognito in Spain, he again gives in to his depraved desires, until shame and despair drive him to an unsuccessful suicide attempt...
Now confined to his room and kept alive on an iron lung, he is ministered to by his resentful wife Griselda (Marisa Paredes of All About My Mother) and her daughter Rena (Gisela Echevarria). Into this environment comes Angelo (David Sust), a strange, handsome young man who offers his services as a nurse. Against Griselda's judgement, Klaus insists that the visitor be allowed to take the post. A perverse relationship develops between Angelo and Klaus, becoming ever more macabre as Angelo reveals he has found diaries detailing his employer's war-time activities. Words turn to deeds, Klaus's shame turns once again to desire, and a new spate of child killings begin...
Described by filmmaker John Waters as more intense than Pier Paolo Pasolini's Salo.

Based partly on fact Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer tells the shocking tale of a killer who selects his victims at random. Having served time for murdering his mother, Henry (Michael Rooker) travels to Chicago where he and his former jailmate Otis (Tom Towles) start a senseless killing spree. When Otis' sister Becky (Tracy Arnold) comes to visit, she unsuspectingly falls in love with Henry.
Henry was the directorial debut of John McNaughton (Wild Things), now regarded as a masterpiece of modern horror by critics from all over the world. The film paints a bleak picture of American society, where serial killers apparently can operate as long as they keep drifting and changing their tacticts. Based on the life of Henry Lee Lucas.
