An aristocratic family becomes obsessed with a striking young blond actress (Silvana Venturelli “Camille 2000”) while watching her in what appears to be a crude, silent stag film. After a visit to a local carnival they meet the girl in person and invite her back to their lavish mansion (the Castle of Balsorano in Italy’s Abruzzi Mountains.) The blonde visitor takes turns seducing the family members, where she unlocks each of their fantasies, family secrets and hidden desires.
The Lickerish Quartet is Radley Metzger’s magnum opus, a delirious surreal erotic fantasy, stylish and elegant.

“The Lickerish Quartet is one of Metzger’s most well known works, and the last of his erotic films not to feature any hardcore action.” Twitch Film
“The film emerged as another filmed play – Metzger’s specialty, since having a few characters allowed him to explore layers of intimacy and conflicts without intrusive secondary characters.” Kqek
“A twisting and turning game of fantasy becoming reality, The Lickerish Quartet contains no shortage of skin on skin but is shot with a considerably more conservative lens than the films that would soon come from Radley Metzger.” Rock! Shock! Pop!
